The Enrollment Examination of Gifu University and Tottori University is standardized into 2 types; The Recommendation-based Enrollment II, which requires the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, and the General Examination (first round only).

In addition to the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, an interview and short essay will be required in the Recommendation-based Entrance Examination II, and English and science (1 subject from physics, chemistry, or biology) for the first round.
